American Canyon StoryWalk spring celebration
Join the American Canyon Parks Foundation for an interactive reading of Cat’s Colours, the featured spring StoryWalk book selection on Saturday, March 22.
Enjoy hot cocoa and a reading of the picture book Cat’s Colours, followed by nature walk and craft activities. The fun begins at the Shenandoah Picnic Shelter at 10 a.m. with read-alongs at 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. This is a free community event open to all ages and great for multi-generational families.

Hadestown Teen Edition
The American Canyon High School Theatre presents Hadestown Teen Edition Friday through Sunday from March 28 through April 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
This show is appropriate for audiences ages 10 and up.

Monthly Slow Stroll in American Canyon
The American Canyon Parks Foundation and American Canyon Soroptimist will a social stroll along the Wetlands Edge Trail on Tuesday, April 8, at 10 a.m.
This monthly event is open to the public and appropriate for all ability levels. All are welcome. This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, meet new people and enjoy a beautiful morning exploring the wetlands.
The stroll will last approximately one-hour along the flat, packed gravel wetlands trail. Participants should meet at the trailhead near the trail information kiosk.

It’s time to celebrate those who help make American Canyon a great place to live, work and play. The 2025 Community Recognition Ball will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in American Canyon.

Meet Me In The Street
Meet Me In The Street returns to American Canyon on June 11, July 9 and Aug. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The largest community event in American Canyon, it includes a food truck rally, business tables, local entertainment, classic car show, kids’ activities, yard games and more.
It is held on West American Canyon Road between James Road and Elliot Drive including North Hampton Park. The street will be closed to traffic.
American Canyon Chamber of Commerce organizes the party.
